Web Surfing

I've long suspected that constantly checking and responding to e-mails wasn't good for you, but this British study finds that it also makes you lose IQ points! I wonder if web surfing in class falls under this category.

Don't worry, Hil. It's scientifically proven that web-surfing in class (or in, ahem, meetings) makes you smarter. The ability to process and absorb abstract visual information (like web pages) while maintaining at least a semblance of sensory awareness and attention to your physical surroundings is a feat that actually makes new brain cells burst forth in glorious bloom. Fear not.
