Did You?
Did you ever have the realization that your brain just might not be made for certain things? I'm having that realisation with tax right now. How did I get myself into this? I was actually looking forward to this course... but now I'm not so sure.

You were looking forward to tax? I just simply went by the Franklinism that it's one of two certainties, and I'd rather get this one out of the way sooner.
I have noticed that economics is almost an unspoken prerequisite for tax. And even having taken it, I'm still struggling to keep up with the course.
I mean, what kinds of professors does Queen's have if they can put me through 4 years of economics without having me learn what amortization is? It sounds like the combination of death AND taxes.

I am having that sensation weekly now that I have started my MA. Apparently, I was last in line when they were giving out "analytical" in heaven. I was also has in line for "writing style". Fortunately, my prof has assured me that I got a lot of "writing for the sake of writing" and even more of "not answering the questions that are asked". You are not alone. My Mom says that passing is enough. Apparently, we Dominas are part of the academic cream, we're just not the academic "creme de la creme". I don't know how that makes me feel but I am glad that it's someone else's fault. har dee har har. Sara
